What we show, and what we don’t.
Public pages show how hard an aircraft has been flown, never where it goes.
On public pages
Type, hours and flights, and a grade against the type. This directory never shows more than the free record it links to.
In the paid report
Every leg, long stays labeled at home or away, and likely service-center visits by facility type and month. Airports and exact dates are left out on purpose.
Owners can opt out
Owners and operators can ask us not to publish an aircraft, and it comes off every page. Data policy and opt-out

Questions.
Looking at a type, not one aircraft?
Every type has a free fleet page. Fleet statistics
Comparing a shortlist?
Spotlight puts up to five tails side by side. About Spotlight
How do I look up a private jet by tail number?
Enter the registration in the box at the top. Every tracked aircraft has a free record showing how hard it has been flown against its type.
What’s in the free record?
The aircraft’s type, flights a month, estimated hours, how it compares with its fleet, and one chapter graded against its type: utilization, or fatigue when there are too few flights to grade utilization.
What does the full TailCheck report add?
All four chapters graded against the type, including corrosion and engines and brakes, plus every flight since January 2025 leg by leg and the questions to put to the seller. Airports and exact dates are left out on purpose. $395 a report, open for three months and kept up to date.
Why don’t you show where an aircraft is based?
We publish information about aircraft, not people. Home bases are never shown publicly, and even the paid report leaves out airports and exact dates. Pages show how hard an aircraft has been flown, not where it goes.
Can an owner remove their aircraft?
Yes. Owners and operators can ask us not to publish an aircraft, and its page comes down.
