01 · Day by day

Arrivals and departures, day by day

Normal is the average day at these airports in the two weeks before (21 May–3 Jun) and the two weeks after (10–23 Jun), leaving out the event days and the day after it closes, when departures peak. Days when another event was on at the same airports are left out too: 21–25 May (the Cannes Film Festival) and 21–23 Jun (the Cannes Lions). We measure normal from the days around the event because ADS-B coverage grows from one year to the next, which would flatter any comparison with last year.

02 · Editions

Edition by edition

We have tracked one edition so far. The edition-by-edition chart starts at three.

ADS-B coverage grew a lot from one year to the next, so arrival counts from different editions aren’t directly comparable. The rise over each edition’s own normal days is the steadier figure.

08 · Planning

Flying in for the Monaco Grand Prix 2027

What the 2026 figures say about timing and airports. Dates for 2027 come from the organizers.

  1. Arrive the day before

Opening day, Thu 4 Jun, was the busiest arrival day, with 113. Landing a day early misses the rush for slots and parking.

  2. Pick the airport for your aircraft

Nice Cote d'Azur International Airport (LFMN) took 83% of arrivals and Cannes-Mandelieu (LFMD) 17%. Runway length and parking differ between them, so check with your operator which suits the aircraft you’re offered.

  3. Book the return early

Mon 8 Jun was the busiest day to leave, with 117 departures. Book the slot early, or leave a day later.

  4. Expect the jet to leave and come back

After 54% of arrivals, the same aircraft left again within six hours. If yours does, the trip home starts with a second positioning flight, which may show on the quote.

  5. Check the exact aircraft

Event weeks stretch fleets. Ask for the tail number and check how hard it has been flown before you book.
